At Ebrahim Retrievers, we are committed to fair and transparent placement policies. This page explains when returns and refunds may apply.
1. Reservation and Deposit Terms
- A puppy is considered reserved only after payment is confirmed.
- Deposits used to hold a puppy are non-refundable if the buyer changes their mind.
- If Ebrahim Retrievers cannot complete the placement, the paid amount is fully refunded.
2. Veterinary Check Requirement
The buyer must complete a licensed veterinary exam within seven (7) days of receiving the puppy and provide records if concerns are identified.
3. Health-Related Refund Eligibility
A full refund may be approved if a licensed veterinarian confirms a serious congenital defect or qualifying pre-existing illness within the required reporting window, and the puppy is safely returned.
4. Communicable Illness Window
If a communicable illness is diagnosed within fourteen (14) days of arrival and documented by a licensed veterinarian, a full refund may be issued upon return and record review.
5. Transportation Fees
- Approved health-related refunds include documented transportation costs when applicable.
- If a buyer cancels for non-health reasons, transportation and handling fees are non-refundable.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
- Buyer remorse or household preference changes after reservation.
- Failure to follow veterinary care instructions or maintain basic puppy welfare standards.
- Minor, non-medical preferences (size expectation, ear set, coat shade, etc.).
- Health concerns reported outside policy timelines without supporting records.
7. Return Request Process
- Contact us immediately at info@ebrahimretrievers.com.
- Provide veterinary records, diagnosis notes, and timeline details.
- Wait for written return authorisation before arranging transport.
- After review and approved return, refund processing typically completes within 5-10 business days.
8. Replacement Option
In some approved cases, buyers may choose a replacement puppy of equal value instead of a refund, subject to availability.
